C.H.I.C.S. stands for
Caring and Helping In Community Service
and is a co-ed community service organization dedicated to serving FSU, Tallahassee, and Leon County as a whole. Our group aids agencies such as the Leon County Humane Society, Kids, Inc., the American Cancer Society, The Shelter, The Early Learning Coalition, and many others.
We also participate in many local festivals and major events on campus, such as Homecoming and Relay for Life. In addition to projects, we also foster camaraderie through a variety of socials including movie nights, camping & much more.
CHICS began in the year 2000 by a small group of girls who had a vision of a club that promoted service and friendship.
Over ten years later, the club has only continued to grow. In Spring 2009, CHICS had over 130 dues-paying members.
As we continue to grow as an Organization, we gladly welcome all new members and work towards starting more chapters of "CHICS" at other schools.
